Manufacturing Seconds
Due to the handcrafted nature, some of the engineering and manufacturing processes we use - such as coating - create a low but unavoidable level of QC (quality control) failures.

The 'Coolicon' lampshade handmade to the classic design, patented by Benjamin Electric of north London in 1933, was added to their range of lighting which includes the ‘RLM’ & ‘Benflux’ lampshades.

This lampshade has over 90 years of product history & is an iconic British classic, finished with the 'Benjamin Electric' badge of honour applied by hand.

Intended to be the task light of choice in 1930’s for craft factories, workshops & all skilled industries, the shade has been a true icon ever since & is perfect for all styles of interior.
